Molasses Cookies

Soft, chewy, spicy molasses cookie! Yum!

Ingredients:

Cream Together:
3/4 cup shortening
1 cup sugar

Add:
1 egg
1/4 cup molasses

Sift Together then add to mixture:
2 cups flour
2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt

Directions:

Roll into ball the size of a walnut.
Roll in granulated sugar.

Bake: 375^{o

Time: 8-10 minutes

Yield: 2 1/2 doz.
