Coney Sauce for hot dogs

This sauce disappears quickly - a favorite at our July 4th picnics!
Ingredients:
1 1/4 lb. ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup chili powder
1/2 cup ketchup
1 1/2 cup water
Directions:
Brown onion with hamburger in a skillet until done. Drain.
Return to pot and add remaining ingredients. Simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Serve on hot dogs!
